Although the fight against fraud has gained momentum over the last decade, finding informative references on the topic is still difficult. That's why since 1987, the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners has published The Fraud Magazine, a bimonthly magazine devoted to timely, insightful articles on white-collar crime and fraud examination techniques.

In each issue, readers find practical "down-in-the-trenches" information in articles ranging from "The Cat and Mouse Game: Tracking Down the Computer Intruder" to "Asset Tracing and Recovery in the Global Environment." Certified Fraud Examiners - your peers - write the majority of the articles, providing a unique perspective from professionals committed to the detection, deterrence, and prevention of fraud.

The Fraud Magazine also features departments that focus on various areas of fraud examination...
Fraud and the Computer: A look into high-tech fraud and abuse issues, including the computer as an investigative tool, software reviews, database security, and scams on the Internet.
Healthcare Fraud: An insightful commentary on the abuses and violations perpetrated within the medical industry.
Fraud's Finer Points: Lessons on the minute details of white-collar crime investigations.
Fraud Update: A compilation of news briefs on actual fraud cases that are under investigation.
Fraud in Other Words: A humorous and insightful collection of industry slang and jargon.
Member Spotlight: Announcements of Association Members who have earned professional recognition in their fields.
Chapter News: An update on the activities and accomplishments of Association Chapters around the globe.
Association News: An overview of the latest developments within the Association, from upcoming conferences and academies to advisory committee nominations and award presentations.
The Fraud Magazine is free to all Associate Members and CFE Members; however, non-members may enjoy the benefits of The Fraud Magazine by subscribing. Subscriptions are $55 (U.S. only) or $75 (other countries). To subscribe, call the Association at (800) 245-3321 or (512) 478-9070.
