Our 1/2 day afternoon training session (Jim Ratley on Statement Analysis) and AGM with dinner will be held on Tuesday, November 21, 2006. Registration and details are included in November Newsletter.
On Wednesday, December 20th we are planning a social luncheon with opportunities to network, win prizes and give to the worthy Union Gospel Mission Christmas dinner program. If you can provide gifts for door prizes, please let Jean Michel know (contact below)
Also, please note that our AGM and ½ day PD seminar will take place on Tuesday November 21instead of Wednesday November 22nd. The reason for the move is that Mr. James Ratley was not available on the 22nd. He will conduct our 1/2 day seminar and be our key-note speaker at the AGM dinner.

have been advised by CFE Austin that in the future they will be paying closer attention to the hours of training members are receiving. The rules read that to maintain your membership it is your responsibility to receive 20 hours of fraud related training annually. Apparently CFE Austin was audited recently and this was one of the recommendations.
Members should be reminded that by attending the luncheons and soon to be breakfast training sessions they will, for the most part, meet the training the requirements.
